Samsung might be trying to make the Buds 4 Pro better for longer journeys.

Samsung is developing new wireless earbuds that will succeed the Buds 3 series, and their codenames hint at a greater focus on audio fidelity and audiophile-grade features. That might be a coincidence, but what isn't is that the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 Pro will boast improved battery life.
Or more specifically, their charging case will boast larger batteries. Our colleagues at GalaxyClub have discovered that the battery inside the Buds 4 Pro charging case has slightly better specifications than the Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro charging cases.
How much larger is this battery? Well, the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro charging cases have a rated capacity of 500mAh and an advertised capacity of 515mAh.
Meanwhile, the charging case for the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 Pro has a rated capacity of 515mAh. This could mean that the advertised capacity is around 530mAh.
Exactly how much battery life the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro case will gain from this slight increase is unknown. And it also remains to be seen if the regular Buds 4 charging case will get the same treatment.
For reference, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro charging case provides approximately 23 hours of extra playtime with Audio Noise Cancellation turned off.
