For the past two years, Samsung has been launching a new Galaxy Book series, its flagship lineup of laptops featuring Windows OS, with four models: the standard variant, Pro, Ultra, and Edge. While the first three feature x86-based Intel processors, the Edge model comes with ARM-based Qualcomm Snapdragon X chipsets.

Earlier this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Book 6 series, its latest flagship laptop lineup. However, while it included the base, Pro, and Ultra models, the Edge variant was missing, and the brand was expected to launch it later. Now, the first Galaxy Book 6 Edge leak has surfaced online, revealing its design and key specifications.

According to WinFuture, German retailer Cyberport has listed Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Book 6 Edge, revealing its images and specifications. You can check out its design in the pictures below.

Galaxy Book 6 Edge features

As per the report, the Galaxy Book 6 Edge will be available in only one screen size: 16 inches. In comparison, the Galaxy Book 5 Edge came with a 15.6-inch display, while the Galaxy Book 4 Edge was offered in both 14-inch and 16-inch variants.

The 16-inch display of the Galaxy Book 6 Edge is said to be an AMOLED panel with a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits of brightness. Reportedly, it lacks touch functionality and features a matte finish, which may help reduce glare.

The Galaxy Book 6 Edge is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-88-100 processor. It is the brand’s latest flagship laptop SoC and features 18 CPU cores (12 prime cores and 6 performance cores) with clock speeds of up to 4.7GHz. Samsung is expected to offer the laptop in two configurations: one with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, and another with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The laptop packs a 61.8kWh battery, which Samsung claims can deliver up to 22 hours of battery life. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB Type-C 4.0 ports, one USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There is also a microSD card slot onboard. The laptop weighs 1.55KG and is 12.3mm thick. It comes with Windows 11 Home pre-installed.

According to the German retailer, the base variant of the Galaxy Book 6 Edge costs €2,199, while the top-end model is priced at €2,800. However, there is no information yet about when Samsung plans to launch it or when it will go on sale.
