You can, but you may not want to hide these app shortcuts.

Although Samsung’s Galaxy AI suite can feel overwhelming at first, it’s easiest to think of it as divided into two categories.
The first category includes AI-driven tools that enhance existing apps, like Browsing Assist for Samsung Internet or Photo Assist for the Gallery. The second consists of stand-alone AI-powered apps. In One UI 8.0, these apps are: AI Select, Drawing Assist, Interpreter, and Now Brief.
All four apps are conveniently placed in the Apps Edge panel, but this uncommon UI design also comes with unusual restrictions. These AI app shortcuts may seem permanent, but they can be hidden. Here’s how, and more importantly, why you may want to avoid hiding them.
Samsung uses the Apps Edge panel as the default home for all stand-alone Galaxy AI apps. The company sure found an unusual use for the Edge panel. And unlike regular app shortcuts, these Apps Edge panel AI shortcuts cannot be removed the usual way.
You can, however, hide them. And to do this: Enter the Apps Edge panel editing mode > menu > uncheck the AI app shortcuts you want to hide.
Alternatively, you can hide the entire Apps Edge panel or disable all Edge panels via Settings > Display > Edge panels.
Before you start hiding Samsung's AI apps from the Edge panel, you should first know that not all four app shortcuts behave consistently. You may lose access to your favorite AI feature.
Because of these awkward limitations, hiding some of these apps will limit access, so consider your usage before removing them. Samsung may also change how Galaxy AI apps and shortcuts work in future One UI updates, but for now, this is how they behave in One UI 8.0. Choose carefully.
