    Galaxy A54's One UI 7 update expands to India

    The update brings lots of new and improved features and a major UI redesign.

    Samsung has expanded the reach of the One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy A54 to India. The new software was released in South Korea a couple of weeks ago, and has now here for Indian users. This is the second major Android OS update that has been released for the phone since its launch.

    Galaxy A54 gets One UI 7 (Android 15) update in India

    The Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update is now available for the Galaxy A54 in India. It comes with firmware version A546EXXUCDYDB, has a download size of around 3.5GB, and includes the May 2025 security patch. It brings lots of new and improved features to the Galaxy A54 along with a major UI redesign.

    If you are a Galaxy A54 user living in India, you should check for the update on your phone by heading to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Once the update is finished downloading, tap the Install Now button. However, make sure that your phone has 30% or more battery charge left before installing the update.

    Samsung launched the Galaxy A54 in early 2023 with Android 13 and One UI 5.1 onboard. The mid-range phone received the Android 14-based One UI 6 update in late 2023 and the One UI 6.1 update a few months later. It has now received the Android 15-based One UI 7 update. It will get Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update later this year.
