Samsung is continuing its impressive streak with the One UI 6 update that it started last week. The company has released the Android 14-based One UI 6 update for the Galaxy A53. UK users are the first to get the update, but it shouldn't be long before other countries get it as well.
The firmware version accompanying the Galaxy A53's stable Android 14 update is A536BXXU7DWK6. It is a 2.3GB download over the air and includes the November 2023 security patch. The update only seems to be out for Android 13 users at this time, but those who are using the One UI 6 beta firmware probably won't have to wait too long for the stable release.
You can make the jump to the latest version of Android and One UI on your Galaxy A53 just like any other software update by going into the phone's Settings » Software update menu and tapping the Download and install option. It may not show up immediately since updates are rolled out in phases, so be sure to check again a little later if the first few attempts don't work.
The official Android 14 firmware for the Galaxy A53 is also available in our firmware archive for anyone wanting to manually upgrade their device. Just be sure to download the firmware for your country and your phone's model number if you choose to go this route, and also try backing up any important data before starting the installation process.
