Samsung has started rolling out the March 2025 security update to the Galaxy A52. The update is currently available in Asia.

Last month, Samsung released a new software update to the Galaxy A52, but it brought a month-old security patch. Now, the company has released an up-to-date security patch for the smartphone.
The latest software update, which has started rolling out for the Galaxy A52, brings the latest security patch. The update with firmware version A525FXXSBFYC1 includes the March 2025 security patch. It fixes 58 security flaws that were discovered in the previous software versions.
The new update is available in Vietnam but should be released in other Asian countries soon. Other regions could get the update in the coming weeks.
If you have a Galaxy A52, you can check for the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Alternatively, you can flash the latest firmware manually if you are well-versed in the process. You need to download the appropriate firmware file from our database and use a Windows PC and the Odin tool for the flashing process.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The company promised to release three major Android OS updates to the phone, and it has already done that. It will now just get security patches.
