Samsung Galaxy A37 colors
Even as we entered September, Samsung hadn’t released the August 2026 security patch for many of its smartphones and tablets. The Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A35 were among them, but that is no longer the case.
Samsung has released new software updates for the Galaxy A37 and the Galaxy A35. They bring the August 2026 security patch, which fixes 56 security issues found in the previous OS version, making both phones more secure than before.
The brand appears to be rolling out the updates globally. The updates for the international variants of the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A35 are 304.90MB and 294.52MB in size, respectively, and carry firmware versions A376EXXS5A2H5 and A356EXXSBDZH1 (via Tarun Vats).
You can download the latest updates by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. Both phones are also eligible to receive Samsung’s latest custom Android interface, One UI 9.0. In fact, the brand may open the beta program for the new software for both phones soon.
