As we are approaching the end of the month, Samsung seems to be speeding up the rollout of the April 2026 security patch to Galaxy smartphones, and as a part of that, the brand has released it for five Galaxy A series devices: Galaxy A35, Galaxy A26, Galaxy A25, Galaxy A07 5G, and Galaxy A07 4G/LTE.
The April 2026 security patch fixes a total of 47 security issues present in the previous firmware version of these phones, making them more secure against threats. Currently, Samsung seems to be rolling it out to either the European or the global variants, or both. You can check out the firmware versions below.
To get the latest update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Speaking of updates for these phones, the Galaxy A35, Galaxy A26, and Galaxy A25 are eligible to get Samsung’s latest Android customisation for its phones, One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2), but the Galaxy A07 5G and Galaxy A07 4G/LTE are not.
