Earlier this month, Samsung released One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for the Galaxy A15. Initially, the brand offered it in its home country, South Korea, then started rolling it out globally, and now the company has released it in the US.
The tech giant is offering the update first to the carrier-locked variant of the phone. While there's no information on the package size, it carries firmware version A156USQUDFZJD. The factory-unlocked units should also get it soon.
You can check the availability of the One UI 9.0 update on your Galaxy A15 and get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
As for the upgrades One UI 9.0 brings, you get more Quick Panel customization options, a location privacy indicator, a Warranty and care section in Settings, and enhancements to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, and accessibility features. It also offers an upgraded Samsung Health.
