Galaxy A15 One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta program is now live

When it comes to opening beta programs for new versions of One UI on Galaxy A series smartphones, Samsung usually makes them available for the Galaxy A5x, Galaxy A3x, and Galaxy A2x lineups.

With One UI 9.0 (Android 17), however, the brand is expanding the program to the Galaxy A1x series as well, with the Galaxy A15 5G becoming the first phone in the lineup to get blessed with the beta program.

The One UI 9.0 beta program for the Galaxy A15 is currently live in India. The update has a size of 2,758.85MB and carries firmware version A156EDXUAZZI2 (via Mohammed Khatri). It also brings the September 2026 security patch, which fixes 90 security issues present in the previous firmware.

To get it, open the Samsung Members app, find the banner for the One UI 9.0 beta program for your phone, tap on it, and enroll your device in it. Now, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. Here, you should be able to see that the beta version of the new software is available for your phone.

Tap on Download. Once it is downloaded, you should be able to see the Install Now button. Select it. Now, the phone will restart, and the installation will be completed.
