Samsung has officially revealed the upcoming launch of the new Galaxy A14 in Malaysia, with availability slated to begin on 15 March 2023 at a starting price of RM799 (~$180). The latest addition to the Galaxy A series family has already been launched in India, the US, and Brazil just a few days ago, although most other markets received the 5G-enabled variant.

For all those Samsung lovers looking for a new budget phone, the Galaxy A14 will be readily available to purchase from 15 March 2023 at Samsung experience stores, authorized retailers, Samsung’s website, and other online stores in Malaysia. Also, you can avail of a complimentary one-year manufacturer warranty and a one-year extended warranty from Samsung Care when purchasing the Galaxy A14 between 15 March to 31 December 2023.

Galaxy A14 features and specifications

According to the South Korean tech giant, the Galaxy A14, available in black, silver, and dark red, offers a supercharged upgrade to the selfie game compared to the Galaxy A13. The A14 features a 13MP front-facing camera and a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.

Not only that, but you will also have :an expansive and seamless display, a battery to keep your device running for days, fast and dependable performance, and signature Galaxy features”. The device has a sleek unibody design, flat camera housing, and a distinctive, lenticular texture on the back cover. Boasting a Full HD+ resolution on a 6.6” screen, the Galaxy A14 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.

Furthermore, it includes expandable storage capabilities of up to 1TB (6GB RAM + 128GB storage and microSD up to 1TB), thus providing users with ample space to store their media content. The Galaxy A14 comes equipped with Android 13 and One UI Core 5.1 (with a promise of two major OS upgrades) and the Exynos 850 processor. On the side of the phone sits a capacitive fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
