Fans are getting their first look at Samsung's One UI 9 update running on a Galaxy S25 series phone. Screenshots showing an early internal One UI 9 test build running on a Galaxy S25+ have made their way online.

The screenshots come from Fahad Ali Javed, who previously spotted the first stable One UI 9 build for the Galaxy S26 lineup on Samsung's servers.

What's surprising is that this internal build has a longer “What's new in One UI 9.0” list than the official One UI 9 beta on the Galaxy S26. In fact, there's a Galaxy AI feature mentioned that we haven't seen before.

My FanCam feature appears to be similar to existing Auto framing feature

Called My FanCam, its description is cut off in the screenshots, but the visible portion says it lets you keep subjects front and center in your videos. Samsung's Camera app has the Auto framing feature that already does this, so it's possible My FanCam will use AI to enhance how well subjects are automatically tracked.

It's possible My FanCam is a feature Samsung will officially introduce with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8. The company's new foldables will run One UI 9.0 out of the box, and as newer devices, they will offer additional features beyond what's currently available in the Galaxy S26 series' One UI 9 beta.

And judging by these screenshots, the Galaxy S25 series will probably get My FanCam as well. It is also likely to receive almost all of the other features that the Galaxy S26 and the upcoming foldables will get with One UI 9, or at least that's what we hope.

The Galaxy S25 series will also likely join Samsung's official One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta program before the stable update is released. It's unclear when the first beta will arrive, but it should be sooner rather than later now that an internal test build has surfaced.
