A few weeks ago, Samsung released the August 2022 security update to the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A53. Yesterday, the US variant of the Galaxy A53 received the security update. Now, the European version is getting the new software.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A53 5G (SM-A536B) comes with firmware version A536BXXU3AVGA. The update has been released in Austria, France, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the UK. It brings the August 2022 security patch that fixes multiple security vulnerabilities. The update also seems to improve camera performance and system behavior.
If you are a Galaxy A53 5G user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can download the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
