Samsung is expected to debut the stable version of One UI 9.0 later this month, and the company is preparing for its release by updating its apps and modules for the new software. After updating Good Lock modules such as ClockFace, LockStar, MultiStar, NavStar, and RegiStar, Samsung has now released an update for the Display Assistant module.

Display Assistant version 9.0.08 is now available through the Galaxy Store as a 7.92MB update. It brings compatibility with One UI 9.0 (Android 17), allowing the app to run properly on devices running the latest version of One UI. Aside from that, the update doesn’t introduce any new features, bug fixes, or performance improvements.

Samsung has already released One UI 9 compatibility updates for several Good Lock modules and is expected to update the remaining ones soon.

One UI 9.0 will debut with the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. All three phones are expected to be announced on July 22, 2026, and will reach buyers starting August 5, 2026. Around the same time, Samsung could also begin rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 update to existing flagship devices, including the Galaxy S26 series.
