Customizing a smartphone home screen is quite popular, and you will find many YouTube videos on how to decorate your device with various icon packs, fonts, wallpapers, and whatnot. With smartphones now coming with beautiful displays, just a simple change of wallpaper can decorate your smartphone’s homescreen.

While there are many wallpaper apps on the Play Store, Google Wallpapers, which has been available on the marketplace since 2016 for all Android devices, has added some cool wallpapers to its collection. These backgrounds can be easily downloaded via the Wallpapers app on your Samsung Galaxy or any other Android phone.

As spotted by 9To5Google, Google has updated the cover images across six wallpaper categories, highlighting the arrival of new wallpapers. Here are the wallpapers that have been added to various categories.

  • Art: Love, Pixel
  • Cityscapes: Cityscapes
  • Landscapes: Photo by VictorAerden
  • Life: Life
  • Solid colors: Soft Violet
  • Textures: Textures

You will notice that some of the new wallpapers added to the Wallpapers app share the same name as their categories. The ‘Love, Pixel’ wallpapers in the ‘Art’ category are the default backgrounds on the Google Pixel 5a, which is now available for all Android phones. If you wish to get a taste of Google Wallpapers on your Android phone, you can download the Google Wallpapers app from the Play Store.
