Sure enough, if you pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, in most markets, you can add one year of free Care+ coverage to your basket with no strings attached.
However, there's one caveat for customers in the USA. And unfortunately, it's not as simple as it is elsewhere. Here's all you need to know.
In the USA, the free Care+ coverage pre-order bonus is a carrier-exclusive offer. It's not available if you pick the unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Galaxy Z Flip 6.
If you want to take advantage of this pre-order bonus, you have to go to Samsung's e-shop, pick your foldable phone, and choose between one of the four carriers listed there: Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, or US Cellular.
When you pick a carrier, you get one-year Care+ coverage for $0 a month. If you want to buy the unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Flip 6 and still be covered by Care+, you'll have to pay $13 a month.

Also worth noting is that the pre-order bonus covers only Samsung Care+ without the Theft and Loss coverage. But if you want the enhanced Care+ with Theft and Loss plan, you can get 20% off for a limited time and pay only $14.40 a month (instead of $18) or $279.29 instead of $349 for a 2-year plan. This is true regardless of whether you pick a carrier or the unlocked variant.
The pre-order window for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 closes on July 24, so make sure you take advantage of all the bonuses you can get before it's too late. In most markets, Samsung also offers a free memory upgrade and fantastic trade-in deals.
