Apart from crowning the best Android apps and games for 2022, Google Play has also named the best Wear OS, Chromebook, and tablet apps for 2022. Thanks to the app redesign, which brought one central list with the Add Task button at the top, sorting options, and a favorites list, Todoist won the ‘Best for Wear OS' award.

Pocket, the app that lets you save topics you care about from different devices and publishers or apps, has won the ‘Best for Tablets' award. You can view all of your saved articles, stories, videos, photos, etc., in a grid layout.

Coming to the fun part, the ‘Best game for Tablets' award was bagged by Tower of Fantasy. It is an open-world anime-based sci-fi adventure game that lets you immerse in thrilling battles and open-world exploration.

BandLab won the inaugural ‘Best for Chromebooks' award. It is a free music creation tool where you can use loops to create your music, share it with your friends, and collaborate with fellow musicians across the globe. This social music creation platform has over 50 million users worldwide, making it a perfect choice for those who love creating music.

Google Play awarded the ‘Best game for Chromebooks' award to Roblox. Roblox is an immensely popular game across platforms, where you can create anything that you can imagine, interact with your friends, create games, play them with friends, and much much more. Not only can you create games, but you can also join games created by other creators on the platform.

The list is localized based on the country you are living in. You can get a list of the best apps and games for your country by tapping on the “Best of 2022” banner at the top of the Google Play Store.
