Samsung Display's QD-OLED panels have been quite popular since their launch three years ago. They have been used in several monitors and TVs. AOC has launched two new gaming monitors for China that use Samsung's latest QD-OLED panels for monitors.
AOC, the Taiwanese monitor brand, has launched two new gaming monitors for China. The Q27G40SDE and the Q27G41ZDE both use Samsung Display's latest-generation 10-bit QD-OLED panels with QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels), 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits typical brightness, 1,000 nits peak brightness (3% APL window), HDR, DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification, and AMD FreeSync Premium.
They both look the same, featuring thin bezels on three sides and a tilt-only stand, but they have two differences. The Q27G40SDE has a 360Hz refersh rate, while the Q27G41ZDE features a 280Hz refresh rate. The former features two HDMI 2.1 ports, while the latter has just one such port. They weigh 5.14kg without the stand.
Both new gaming monitors feature one DisplayPort 1.4 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. They both feature picture-by-picture (PbP) and picture-in-picture (PiP) display modes. The monitors support 100 x 100 VESA mount, a blue light filter, an FPS display, and black stabilizer.
