Android 14 is slowly getting ready to roll out for the Google Pixel phones. Pixel owners participating in the beta update program are seeing new updates arrive on their phones frequently with new features and bug fixes. Apparently, the latest Android 14 Beta 2.1 update brings in multiple bug fixes that were reported by Pixel phone owners running the previous Android 14 beta version.

The changelog of the Android 14 Beta 2.1 update is pretty long, but that is not because it includes various new features. Instead, the long list mentions all the bug fixes that the update brings to the Pixel phones. The update also brings a much-needed bug fix for Pixel phone owners who reported facing issues related to the device setup.

The new Android 14 update also fixes app crashes or freezing issues on Pixel phones

The Android 14 Beta 2.1 update arrives with the build number UPB2.230407.019 and the Google Play Services version 23.15.16. It is accompanied by the Android Security Patch Level of May 2023. This new Android 14 Beta 2.1 update also fixes the bug that shows the battery percentage as 0% instead of the actual battery level. You can find the complete changelog by visiting this link.

It also squashes the bug that caused some issues with the device's speakers. You will also find multiple bug fixes that will help fix app crashes, app freezing issues, Google Photos app crashes, Google Contacts app crashes, and more. In case your Pixel phone is already in beta, you can get the latest Android 14 beta update by heading over to Settings » System » System update and clicking the Check for updates button.
