Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S24 series yesterday and pre-orders are now open ahead of the confirmed January 31 release date. There are plenty of deals available from the different retailers and carriers selling the devices.
Amazon is in on the action as well with a unique deal of its own. The online retailer is offering Amazon gift cards of up to $200 when you purchase a Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ or the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Amazon's giving free gift cards with the Galaxy S24
When you pre-order a Galaxy S24 Ultra from Amazon, you'll get a $200 gift card for free. The gift card will be emailed to you after you've received the device. Since this is an Amazon gift card, you can use this $200 incentive to purchase anything on Amazon. Prices start at $1,299 and all pre-order customers also get a free storage upgrade.
Similarly, pre-ordering a Galaxy S24+ from Amazon gets you a $150 gift card for free with the same conditions. Prices start at $999. Lastly, when you pre-order a Galaxy S24, Amazon will give you a $50 gift card as well as the double storage offer at the same $799 starting price.
These are great deals for customers who don't have an existing device to trade in. The Amazon gift card provides a lot of flexibility since the amount can be used to purchase any product, and since most of us buy a lot of stuff from Amazon anyway, it's hard not to see the value in a free gift card.
