At the CES 2023 event that was held earlier this year, Samsung unveiled the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor, which is the world’s first dual-UHD display. We got a chance to experience the massively wide monitor, and we were pretty impressed with how it performs. Samsung has now finally opened pre-orders for the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor in the US, and to sweeten the purchase for prospective buyers, the company is offering a $500 credit on the pre-orders.

Get $500 credit on 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor

The Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch gaming monitor comes with a price tag of $2,499, and it is available to pre-order on Amazon, Best Buy, Samsung, and NewEgg. When you pre-order the monitor from any of these websites, you’ll get a $500 voucher that you can use on the same platforms to purchase anything that you’d like, bringing down the effective price of the monitor to $1,999. Pre-orders are live from November 18, 2023, to October 2, 2023.

While you’ll get the $500 credit without entering any coupon code on Best Buy, Samsung, and Newegg, you’ll have to redeem the offer on Amazon by clicking on the Redeem button on the product page or by entering the 500NEOG9 coupon code on the payments page. We wish that Samsung instead offered a direct discount of $500, which would’ve made been more beneficial to users. Nonetheless, buyers have something to look forward to.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch features

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch features a 32:9 aspect ratio with a 7,680 x 2,160 pixels resolution. The display uses Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology, which is the company’s term for Mini LED technology. It has 2,392 Mini LED zones. The gaming monitor has a 240Hz refresh rate, 1 millisecond grey-to-grey response time, and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. The display panel has a 1000R curvature, and according to the company, its peak brightness is 1,000 nits. It is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified as well.

Connectivity options include 1x DisplayPort 2.1 port, 3x HDMI 2.1 ports, 2x USB 3.0 ports, and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. Unlike many other monitors from Samsung that feature Tizen OS and wireless connectivity options, this one doesn’t come with any of that. There are, however, a few features the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 offers that will improve your gaming experiences, such as Black Equalizer, Refresh Rate Optimizer, and Picture-in-Picture. The monitor has RGB lighting, and it comes with a tilt, swivel, and height-adjustable stand.
