The Galaxy S6 is yet to be hit the retail shelves by the device teardown website MyFixGuide has already stripped it apart. The teardown reveals that the Galaxy S6 is as beautiful on the inside as it is from the outside. The new glass-and-metal build makes opening and repairing a device harder, as one needs to use the heat gun for about 2-3 minutes to remove the back.
As reported earlier, the battery on this devices isn't as easily replaceable as it seemed from the leaked manual. One first needs to remove the middle frame, then the NFC chip, and then unscrew the motherboard to access the battery. The camera module seems to have a fixed base to reduce jitters. There isn't much to notice in this teardown, but it is clear that the device is very well put together.
