Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini launched in India for Rs. 26,499

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S5 Mini will go on sale in India from tomorrow, September 10, for a price of Rs. 26,499. As revealed earlier, the phone will be exclusively available through Flipkart, India's largest online retailer – this is the second time a Samsung device is being sold exclusively by a retailer in the country, the previous device being the Galaxy K Zoom on Amazon. The phone will be available in charcoal black, shimmery white, electric blue and copper gold colors, and will come with dual SIM slots like the Galaxy S4 mini.

The Galaxy S5 Mini sports a 4.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD slot, NFC, and a 2,100 mAh battery. The phone is water and dust-resistant with IP67-rating, has fingerprint and heart rate sensors, and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with features like Ultra Power Saving Mode.
