Google has launched a new way for ChromeOS users to test new features of the operating system. As per the official community post, Google has introduced the ChromeOS Beta Tester Hub, where not only will you get to experience new ChromeOS features on your Samsung Chromebook, but you can also engage with the developers directly.

As per Google, the “goal of this platform is to provide a space where ChromeOS Beta features are easily visible and accessible to all ChromeOS users.” The ChromeOS Beta Tester Hub is now open to the general public, and interested users can join the hub to enjoy new features, whether or not they are in the beta program or not.

You can now test new Chrome OS features ahead of others on your Samsung Chromebook

This will open doors for users who wish to try out new features but do not want to engage in the beta program. Also, it will be an opportunity for ChromeOS users to share feedback with Google regarding the OS and help develop a better operating system. Every member of this ChromeOS Beta Tester Hub will be able to meet with the ChromeOS Product Team to learn more about the features that are under development.

Meanwhile, the Google Product Experts that are on the Gold tier and higher will get access to a special section that will give them “details about features that are early on in development.” Moreover, to promote the new tester hub and increase sign-ups, Google is offering some Google merch or, as they say, “swagalicious items” to the first 500 users who sign up to become a Product Expert and download the latest beta version.

Regarding the official merch, Google said that they will offer more details if you are in the first 500. In case you are already a ChromeOS Beta tester, Google will reach out to you separately about the items.
