Samsung Galaxy A36 Home Screen
Samsung, a week after releasing the stable One UI 9.0 (Android 17) update for the Galaxy A36 in its home country, South Korea, has started rolling it out globally, with Europe seemingly the first to get it.
While there's no information on the update's size, it carries firmware version A366BXXUCDZIF. The brand should start releasing it in other countries soon. To check its availability and get it, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
One UI 9.0 brings several improvements to the Galaxy A36, including more customization options for the Quick Panel, allowing users to resize the brightness and volume sliders and media player, rearrange controls, and separate the sound mode button from the volume slider.
In addition to that, you get a new Warranty and Care menu in Settings, which provides warranty information, diagnostic checks, and other useful device maintenance details, along with an easier way to lock the phone quickly. The update also brings the September 2026 security patch, which fixes 58 security issues.
