Samsung has released an update for the Always On Display app for Galaxy smartphones. It carries version 8.9.66.1 and brings one change, which is a bug fix (via Kailash). You can check out the official changelog below.

As you can see, the update fixes an issue where AOD didn’t function properly in certain scenarios, improving the stability of the app/feature.

You can get the latest Always On Display update by opening the Galaxy Store, going to Menu, selecting Updates, and tapping on the Update all button.

It is worth pointing out that the update is live for eligible devices, including those running One UI 8.5 and One UI 9.0, globally.
