Samsung Wallet is expanding its support for digital keys, with some Cadillac vehicles now being supported.
The platform already provides digital key access for a wide range of leading automakers, including Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Toyota, BMW, and more.
Samsung Electronics America has confirmed that Samsung Wallet now has digital key support for select General Motors vehicles in the United States and Canada. The support begins with select 2026 and 2027 Cadillac electric vehicles, including the 2025-2027 LYRIQ, 2026-2027 OPTIQ, and 2027 VISTIQ.
The support will not stop here, though. Samsung Wallet digital key will work with additional Cadillac models by the end of this year.
This feature will enable General Motors' customers to conveniently and securely lock, unlock, and start their vehicles through Samsung Wallet on a compatible Galaxy device.
With the digital key enabled, the Ultra-Wideband and Bluetooth Low Energy technology allows your compatible device to unlock the car door automatically as you approach the vehicle, without even needing to touch your phone.
Your device will also automatically lock the car as you walk away from it. Digital keys can also be shared, so if you need to provide someone with temporary access to your vehicle, it can easily be done through the Samsung Wallet app.
