Samsung started rolling out the October 2026 patch to select phones a few days ago. It didn't say much about the patch then, but now the October 2026 security patch changelog has been revealed in full.

As usual, Samsung's October 2026 security update includes fixes released by Google, a.k.a. CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures), as well as several fixes that Samsung has applied to its own software, hardware, and services. These are called SVEs (Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures).

In total, the October 2026 security patch includes the following number of vulnerability fixes:

CVE (Google fixes):

  • Low risk: none.
  • Moderate risk: 3 fixes.
  • High risk: 33 fixes
  • Critical: 9 fixes.

SVE (Samsung fixes):

  • Moderate risk: 7 fixes.
  • High risk: 6 fixes.
  • High-risk issues addressed by Samsung Semiconductor: 4 fixes.

You can read the full October 2026 patch changelog on Samsung's website. In the meantime, Samsung will continue rolling out the October 2026 update to more eligible devices, of which there are plenty.
