Android 17 (One UI 9)
Last month, Samsung released the stable version of One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Initially, the brand rolled it out in its home country, South Korea, then in the US, and now the company has started making the latest updates for the two phones available in more regions, with India being one of the first to get it.
The update is currently live for units enrolled in the beta program. The one for the book-style foldable is 540.83MB in size and carries firmware version F966BXXUCCZIH (via Kailash).
The tech giant should make it available to non-beta users and in other countries soon. You can check for it and get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
One UI 9.0 brings many changes and upgrades over One UI 8.5. That includes more options for Quick Panel customization, enhancements to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, and accessibility features, and a location privacy indicator. New AI features such as My FanCam are included as well.
