Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 (Android 17) update for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 outside South Korea. After the update arrived in South Korea last week, the update is now arriving in the US.

Other countries could follow soon.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 get stable One UI 9 update in the US

US users with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 have begun receiving the stable One UI 9.0 update. So far, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 update has been spotted on AT&T, while Galaxy Z Fold 7 users are receiving it on T-Mobile and Verizon.

For carrier-locked models of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the update arrives with firmware version F966USQUCCZIH.

The rollout appears to cover both carrier-locked and factory-unlocked variants, with other carrier networks expected to follow in the coming days.

If you own either of these foldable devices in the US, you can check for the update manually. Head to the Settings app, navigate to Software update, and tap Download and install. Once the update finishes downloading, tap Restart now to complete the process.
