Samsun pushes Tizen 10 update to Bespoke home appliances globally

This past May, Samsung rolled out a massive new firmware update to select Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hubs in the USA. Today, Samsung announced that the same Tizen 10.0-based update is going global.

Select home appliances will get the same software as Samsung's premium appliances released in 2026.

Bespoke refrigerators equipped with cameras and AI Vision will massively benefit from this new release. AI Vision gets updated with Google Gemini integration. After this update, your Family Hub fridge will better recognize and manage food items.

The update is available on several Bespoke models, including the 21.5-inch and 32-inch Family Hub fridges released between 2021 and 2025, as well as select 2025 models with 9-inch displays.

Tizen 10.0 also gives Bespoke fridge users more personalized information throughout the day through features like Now Brief and What's for Today?

Aside from Family Hub refrigerators, Samsung is also rolling out a new firmware update to its 2024 and 2025 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, Washer, and Dryer models.

The meat of this new update consists of Bixby. The virtual assistant will allow Bespoke AI Laundry users to issue voice instructions and communicate with their appliance more intuitively.

Better yet, this new update will enhance your Samsung Bespoke washer even if you don't intend to use Bixby. The latest firmware introduces a refreshed UI for the 7-inch Smart Screen models. The new UI introduces Easy Mode, which features a streamlined layout.

On devices with Easy Mode, you can access it by navigating to Settings > Display > Control Theme menu.

Samsung will continue expanding the update's availability throughout September. Precise release dates vary by market, product, and model year.
