Samsung releases second One UI 9 beta update for Galaxy A55

Samsung says the beta should reach other supported regions soon through the Software update menu.

Earlier this month, Samsung opened the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta program for the Galaxy A55. Now, the brand has released the second beta version of the new software for the phone.

Currently, the company is rolling it out in its home country, South Korea. The update has a size of 403.66MB, carries firmware version A556SKSUBEXI4, and brings one change (via Tarun Vats).

The tech giant says the second beta version of One UI 9.0 for the Galaxy A55 improves camera stability. Samsung should release it in other regions where the beta program is available in the next few hours. You can get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.

The brand started rolling out the stable version of One UI 9.0 to eligible devices last week. However, it may take some time for it to reach the A series phones, especially older models, as the brand hasn't even released it to newer Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series smartphones yet.
