Samsung releases One UI 9.0 beta update for Galaxy A25

Samsung has opened the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta program for the Galaxy A25. It allows the phone's users to try the brand's latest custom Android interface before it releases the stable version.

As far as we know, this is the first time the company has opened a beta program for a new One UI version for a Galaxy A2X series smartphone.

The company seems to have released the update first in India. It is 2,796.68MB in size and carries firmware version A256BXXUEZZIA (via Reddit, Tarun Vats).

To try the beta version of One UI 9.0 on your Galaxy A25, open the Samsung Members app, search for and find the banner for the new software's beta program for your phone, and enrol your device in it.

Now, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. Here, you should be able to see that an update offering One UI 9.0 is available for your phone. Tap on Download to get it.

One UI 9.0 brings a more customisable Quick Panel, enhanced Samsung Notes and Samsung DeX, a location privacy indicator, and improvements to accessibility features.
