Samsung is discontinuing the AR Doodle app for Galaxy phones

People who already have the app installed will be able to use it even after the December 31, 2026 deadline.

Starting December 31, 2026, people will no longer be able to download the app from the Galaxy Store. However, those who already have the app installed will still be able to use it even after the service ends. That said, Samsung notes that since it is terminating the service, the app will no longer receive updates, and some of its features may stop working in the future.

The South Korean tech giant hasn’t revealed why it is discontinuing the AR Doodle app. However, it has thanked users for using the app and for their loyalty. Samsung also said, “We are committed to returning with improved services in the near future.” However, it isn’t clear what the brand means by this statement or whether it is hinting at a replacement for AR Doodle.
