Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8
Samsung has released a new software update for its latest smartphone with a clamshell-style foldable display, the Galaxy Z Flip 8. According to the changelog, it improves the phone’s security.
However, if you are thinking that since the update came out in September, it may have brought this month’s security patch, you’d be wrong. It has the same August 2026 security patch as before.
Considering that, we assume this update contains minor bug fixes, probably related to the security of the device. The brand has released it in its home country, South Korea. The update carries firmware version F776NKSS2AZH8.
We expect Samsung to release the latest update for the Galaxy Z Flip 8 in other countries globally over the next few days. You can check its availability and get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
