Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy S25 series globally. The update was first released in South Korea last week and is now expanding to several other countries worldwide, bringing crucial security improvements to the lineup.
The newest software update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra is now available in Europe and India. It comes with firmware version S93xBXXSCCZH1 and includes the August 2026 security patch, which fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities. The update has a download size of over 500MB, though the exact size varies slightly for each model in the series.
If you live in any of the countries or regions mentioned above, you should check your Galaxy S25 series phone for the update. You can do this by opening the Settings app, navigating to Software update, and tapping Check for updates. If the update is available, it will start downloading automatically.
Make sure your phone has at least a 30% battery charge so the installation process can proceed smoothly. Once the update is downloaded and installed, tap the Restart button to complete the process.
