Samsung launches new Bespoke 2-in-1 microwave and range hood in the US

Samsung has launched a new over-the-range microwave in the US called the Bespoke Over-the-Range Microwave. It is a 2-in-1 appliance that combines a microwave oven and a range hood to save space, just like the previous model in the lineup. It sits above the cooking range, with the hood capturing fumes and the microwave oven positioned above it for heating and cooking.

The Bespoke Over-the-Range Microwave features DualVent technology, a ventilation system with vents at the bottom and front that offers 500 CFM of airflow. According to Samsung, the system captures up to 82% of fumes, similar to the company’s standalone range hoods. Typically, additional vents need to be opened manually. On this model, however, they open and close automatically.

The Bespoke Over-the-Range Microwave is also a smart appliance with SmartThings support. This allows it to work seamlessly with compatible Samsung cooking ranges, automatically turning the ventilation system on and off based on the cooking system. It also features a fingerprint-resistant finish that helps keep the microwave looking clean, along with backlit touch buttons for easy operation.

Samsung has priced the Bespoke Over-the-Range Microwave at $749 in the US. However, the company is currently offering a $75 discount, bringing the price down to $674.
