On Samsung smartphones, many features are available as an app. One of them is Always On Display (AOD), and now the brand is rolling out an update to it.

The latest Always On Display update carries version 8.9.55.2 and brings one change: “Fixed GUI issues with the clock on the lock screen under certain language settings.”

We haven’t encountered any issues with the clock on the lock screen in Always On Display mode. However, considering the changelog, some people may have been facing problems with it, and now, the company has fixed it.

Samsung seems to be offering the latest Always On Display update to devices running One UI 9.0 (Android 17) and One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2). You can get it by going to Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates > Update all.
