TL;DR

  • Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 comes in four colors, with Pistachio sold only through Samsung’s website and app.
  • The 256GB Pistachio model is already out of stock, while other colors in that storage tier remain available.
  • Strong demand suggests Pistachio is the most popular choice, and buyers can still pre-order higher-storage versions.

Samsung is offering its first smartphone with a 4:3 book-style foldable display, the Galaxy Z Fold 8, in four colors — Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Pistachio — with the last one being available exclusively through the brand's official website and the Samsung Shop app.

On social media, the Pistachio color appears to be many people's favorite, with quite a few describing it as cute. The company's website also suggests that it is the most sought-after option, and if you were planning to get it, there's some disappointing news for you.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8’s 256GB storage variant in Pistachio color seems to have gone out of stock on Samsung's website, while the same storage variant in Cream, Graphite, and Lavender remains available (via 9To5Google). That suggests the Pistachio color is currently the most popular choice among buyers.

With that, people who want to buy the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in Pistachio will have to either go for the 512GB or 1TB storage variants. Otherwise, they may have to wait a few more days for it to come back in stock. Samsung is still taking pre-orders for the phone and will start shipping it on August 3, 2026.
