Galaxy AI will be available on 800 million devices by the end of this year

Samsung is pushing ahead with Galaxy AI as most of its new devices now offer artificial intelligence-enabled features. The best AI experiences can be found on its flagship phones but the company's mid-rangers now also offer various capabilities.

This is enabling Samsung to amass significant scale for Galaxy AI. The company today revealed that it projects Galaxy AI to be available on 800 million devices by the end of this year.

The headline figure was shared by Samsung Electronics CEO and the head of its mobile division TM Roh during today's Unpacked event in London where the company unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8.

Galaxy AI has enjoyed an incredible run ever since it was introduced a few years ago. Samsung projected having it available on 200 million devices by the end of 2024. Two years later, the company now expects that number to 4x by the end of 2026.

The AI capabilities of Samsung's devices have improved considerably since then. Samsung continues to make strides in making AI more seamless and secure for the countless people who rely on these capabilities to make their lives easier.

At this rate, it's easy to imagine that Samsung should announce that it has expanded Galaxy AI to a whopping one billion devices at some point next year.
