Samsung has launched a handful of new products today, including its latest clamshell foldable the Galaxy Z Flip 8.
It was rumored that there would be price hikes this year, and those rumors have turned out to be true. Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy Z Flip 8 price starts at $1,199.
There are only two variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 8 on offer and both have 12GB of RAM. Your only choice is between 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
Prices start at $1,199 for the 12GB + 256GB model in the United States, while the 512GB variant costs $1,399. Customers across Europe will pay €1,299 for the 12GB + 256GB and €1,499 for the 12GB + 512GB models, respectively. Pricing in other markets will be similarly higher than last year.
The device features a 6.9-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable display alongside a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED cover display. It measures just 6.1mm thin and weighs 180g. It's powered by the Exynos 2600 chipset. Samsung has equipped the device with a 50-megapixel wide and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The handset also has a 4,300mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
Samsung has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip 8 starting today. The device is available in Graphite, Cream, and Pink colors. A Mint color is also available as an online-exclusive from Samsung.com. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 will be available in select markets starting August 7, 2026.
