Nearly seven months after unveiling its new portable projector, the Freestyle+ (LFF3H), Samsung has launched it in the US. It is priced at $1,199.99 and can be purchased through Samsung's official US website and select retailers across the country.
The Freestyle+ is a portable DLP projector that can project an image of up to 100 inches. It has Full HD resolution, up to 430 ANSI lumens of brightness, and a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000:1. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. The projector can adjust brightness and contrast according to its surroundings.
Its 3D Auto Keystone feature automatically adjusts the image to suit different surfaces (including curtains) and corrects the colors of the content. With the Obstacle Avoidance feature, it automatically resizes the image if it spills over nearby objects (such as photo frames) on the surface it is projecting onto. It also focuses automatically and continues to adjust focus when it is moved.

The projector has a built-in 360-degree 5W speaker for an immersive audio experience. It features Adaptive Sound and is compatible with Dolby Atmos. Thanks to Q-Symphony, it can pair wirelessly with a compatible Samsung soundbar or Wi-Fi speaker for more impactful audio.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and an HDMI 2.0 port with eARC.
The Freestyle+ runs Tizen OS with the One UI interface. It features Gaming Hub, Samsung Health, SmartThings, and Samsung TV Plus. It has built-in Alexa and Bixby AI assistants, as well as far-field microphones for voice commands. With AirPlay 2 and Smart View, you can project or cast content wirelessly from a phone or computer to the Freestyle+.

Gaming features include Auto Low-Latency Mode (ALLM), Game Bar, Mini Map Zoom, and Super Ultra Wide Game View. It also has a USB Type-C port for power and can be powered by a power bank.
