Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Fold 8 features confirmed by leaked press renders

Ahead of their official announcement scheduled for next week, press renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 have been leaked, confirming some of their features and specifications. Press renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra were also leaked, and you can view them by clicking here.

Leakster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has revealed what appear to be press renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 through their Substack emailer. You can see all those images below. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 has the same design as its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is a completely new device with a shorter and wider form factor, featuring two rear-facing cameras.

The Galaxy Z Flip 8 has a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP front-facing camera. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 has a 50MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and two 10MP front-facing cameras. Both phones run One UI 9.0.

The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is confirmed to be powered by a 4,300mAh battery. Previous leaks have claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is powered by a 4,800mAh battery.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor. While the new leak doesn't reveal the Galaxy Z Flip 8's chipset, recent reports have revealed that the flip-style foldable phone uses the Exynos 2600 processor in most countries globally, with its China and US variants relying on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip.

Both phones likely feature GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. We also expect them to feature a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to feature 45W fast charging and 20W fast wireless charging.

The Galaxy Z Flip 8's wired charging speed hasn't been confirmed yet, but one report claimed 45W fast wired charging for the flip phone.
