Since Samsung unveiled One UI 9.0 (Android 17), its latest Android skin for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, and released the first beta for the Galaxy S26 series, the brand has been consistently updating its apps to make them work with the new software. Now, it's the turn of the Good Guardians modules.
Samsung has released updates for three Good Guardians plugins — Battery Guardian, Galaxy App Booster, and Thermal Guardian. All three carry version 9.0.07 and make the apps compatible with One UI 9.0 (via Tarun Vats). The company seems to be rolling out updates in all the regions where the apps are available.
To get the latest Good Guardians updates, open the Galaxy Store, tap on the icon with three horizontal lines in the top-left corner of the screen, select Updates, and tap on the update icon on the app’s listing or the Update all button in the top-right corner of the display.
Samsung is said to release the stable version of One UI 9.0 with its upcoming foldable phones at the next Galaxy Unpacked event, which it just announced. We expect the South Korean tech giant to update all its apps with support for the new software by that time.
