Telegram has released a new version of its messaging app, and it brings support for Wear OS smartwatches. This means you can install it on your Wear OS-powered Galaxy Watch and start using Telegram right from your wrist. The smartwatch version of the app is surprisingly capable.
This isn’t the first time Telegram has come to Wear OS smartwatches. The app was available on Wear OS devices more than five years ago before Telegram discontinued it. At that time, Galaxy Watches were running Tizen, which means this is the first time Telegram has officially been available on Galaxy Watches. The app launched on the Apple Watch last week and is now available for Wear OS devices as well.

The app brings an almost complete chat experience to your wrist, including the ability to send and receive text and voice messages, mute chats, view videos, and pin important conversations. It currently doesn’t support sending stickers or viewing locations. However, Telegram says those features will be added soon.
