Samsung has announced a partnership with CLEAR to bring secure access to mobile digital IDs in the USA. As part of the collaboration, you can now add a digital version of your passport to the Samsung Wallet app on your Galaxy phone.
The two companies have worked together to introduce Samsung ID with CLEAR in Samsung Wallet at no additional cost. This feature allows you to add information from your US passport to the app.
The information is verified by CLEAR and can be used to confirm your identity at more than 250 Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints without needing to present a physical passport.
