Samsung announced in July last year that it will produce the first original scripted series for Samsung TV Plus with Dhar Mann Studios.
Details about the series, titled Unlikely Romances, have now been released. The series is executive produced and written by renowned creator Dhar Mann.
Samsung also expanded its content partnerships with major creators last year. It added content from the likes of Epic Gardening, The Try Guys, Mark Rober, Michelle Khare, and more through dedicated channels for Samsung TV Plus.
Unlikely Romances is a lighthearted anthology series, where every episode has a different story and cast, about love stories that take root where people least expect them. The episodes are set within the same city and shared world, with each episode bringing together two people who are incompatible on paper but end up falling in love.
The first four-part installment of the series will be released on Friday, June 5, at 9 PM ET. New episodes will then be released every week through June 26. The series will be available on Samsung Television Network in the United States.
It will also be available on the exclusive Dhar Mann Samsung TV Plus channel across the US, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland.
