Almost three weeks after opening the One UI 8.5 Beta Program for the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung has released the One UI 8.5 Beta 2 update for the lineup. This update focuses on fixing several critical bugs introduced with the first beta release.
The second One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra is now available in India and South Korea. It comes with a firmware version ending in ZZDP and has a download size of over 700MB. It also includes the April 2026 security patch for all three phones.

As you can see, the update addresses the occasional delayed or black incoming call screen issue. It also fixes proximity sensor bugs during calls, Bluetooth crashes, multi-touch problems, and the green line issue reported in some 4K HDR recordings.
Samsung could release a few more One UI 8.5 beta updates for the Galaxy S23 series before rolling out the stable update sometime next month.
