Galaxy Tab S11 gets second One UI 8.5 beta update

It brings several bug fixes to the two high-end tablets.

A couple of weeks ago, Samsung expanded the One UI 8.5 Beta Program to the Galaxy Tab S11 series. Now, the company has released the second beta update, bringing several bug fixes and the latest security patch to its high-end tablets.

Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra receive One UI 8.5 Beta 2

The second One UI 8.5 beta update is now available for the Galaxy Tab S11 and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra in South Korea. It carries firmware version X93xNKOU5ZZD1 and has a download size of over 600MB. In addition to bug fixes, the update includes the April 2026 security patch.

If you have already enrolled your Galaxy Tab S11 series tablet in the One UI 8.5 Beta Program and live in South Korea, you can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update and tapping Check for updates. Once the update is downloaded, tap Install now to begin the installation process. The tablet will restart after a few minutes.

Changelog

  • Improved call recording performance.
  • Fixed a toast pop-up issue on external monitors when switching between Mirroring and DeX after applying the maximum screen zoom display setting.
  • Fixed an issue where Bluetooth interruption notifications appeared unexpectedly.
  • Fixed an issue where a toast pop-up did not appear when deleting apps from overlay apps.

Samsung may release a few more beta updates before rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update globally. The stable release could arrive sometime next month, although the company has not confirmed a timeline yet.
