Samsung debuted its latest Android customization for Galaxy smartphones, One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2), by releasing its beta version for the Galaxy S25 series. People expected the brand to roll out a few beta builds of the new software before offering its stable version.

However, so far, the company has released eight beta builds for the three phones in the lineup, and users have been eagerly waiting for the tech giant to end the beta program and roll out the stable version. Well, we may finally have a date for when that could happen.

On X, Tarun Vats claims that Samsung will release the stable version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra on April 30, 2026. According to the tipster, this timeline is applicable for the brand’s home country, South Korea.

Samsung, usually, after releasing a software update for a phone in its home country, rolls it out in other parts of the world within 3 to 4 days. Considering that, Tarun predicts that the stable One UI 8.5 build for the Galaxy S25 may arrive globally on May 4, 2026.
